  • It is recommended to come at least 15 minutes early to your initial appointment so that you can read and sign the consent form.
    From there, Carolyn will explore and discuss what your needs are in sessions.

  • Counselling sessions are usually 50 minutes. It is important for all clients to be on time, so that all appointments are able to be kept on schedule. Coming late to sessions will not extend your appointment time.

  • This will be discussed at your initial appointment as it is dependant on your goals of therapy and on the severity of issues.
    Florere Counselling will assist you to set goals and to review these to ensure you feel your issue/s are being addressed.

  • Yes, at Florere Counselling we offer face-to-face, phone and/or video counselling. This allows you flexibility if you would like to had a blended model for counselling and if you cannot come into the office for one or all of your appointments.

  • At Florere Counselling, we utilise a range of tools including assessments and questionnaires to assist with the counselling process. However, we do not do formal assessments for autism, IQ, ADHD, or other issues.
